Interesting books to read that point toward how the future looks

Thursday, November 24th, 2011

I wanted to start a section on books that point toward how the future could look and how it could all collapse –

The first book I would like to highlight is the “LaNague Chronicles” written by E. Paul Wilson which in the first half may be highlighting what is going on in our current monetary system.  In the book  There are two govenments that are interlinked – Earth and the Outerworlds (there are two other systems that are not tied economically) and they are trading partners – but an imbalance in trade has happened where the outworlds are reliant on exporting to earth – while earth is working hard to stop impoting.  At the same time both governments have move toward a socialist type system.  The first book is about how on the outworlds a group has decided to get rid of the Imperium (i.e. the government) – basically the inflationary spiral is a great example what will happen in the future in this country.

I think the Robin Readers are the best.
